About: Showroom is Sheffield’s independent four screen cinema situated in the heart of the Cultural Industries Quarter, one of the biggest in the UK and voted “Best Independent Cinema” by Guardian readers.
We are committed to providing a diverse range of films and related activity for Sheffield and the surrounding region. New and archive films from around the world - most not available elsewhere in the city. These are presented alongside an extensive education programme and high profile film festivals throughout the year.

Showcomotion Young People’s Film Festival
The festival’s audience comprises families and young children; young people at school; and teachers mainly from the South Yorkshire region in the UK. In addition delegates from the children’s media industry, both national and international, attend the Showcomotion Children’s Media Conference.
